AGC CELEBRATED 21 ST FOUNDATION DAY

Amritsar group of Colleges (AGC) Amritsar, the Premier Institute of the region, as part of its cherished tradition, celebrated the 21 st Foundation Day on 27 th May, 2022. It was indeed a spectacular celebration which fitted well in the glowing glory of the institute. Prestigious institution,regarded as a brand name in the field of education started its celebration of the foundation day witha very apt inaugural speech by Principal Dr. Vijay Kumar Banga who at the very off set threw spotlight on the background, year by year journey of achievements and expansion and the future plans of AGC. Dr. Banga very specifically acquainted the elite audience with present scenario of the education system, its challenges and new requirements for the teaching fraternity to adopt teaching as a career. Apart from teaching, non-teaching staff members the function was attended and graced by Management member Mr. Jatinder Dua, Director Finance Ms. Ragini Sharma and very well-known personality and profile of the vicinity Chairman Advocate Mr. Amit Sharma. The complete program of Foundation Day was a day of fun and frolic and created a real festive mood through various cultural events viz-a-viz Western Group Dance and Punjabi Group Dance by female faculty, Bhangra, Singing Performances, Fashion Show, enactment of Nilaam Ghar for distributing lucrative prizes to the quiz winners and mesmerizing magical singing performances by noted Punjabi Celebrity Singer Bir Singh, who happens to be the college Alumnus. 

AGC, Amritsar presented the example of a welfare-oriented educational institute by uplifting the morale and spirit of its employees by honoring and awarding them. Around 60 Teaching and Non- teaching members of the staff were honored for their sincerity, loyalty, dedication, a contribution for the up-liftment of the institute to its current status, and above all work ethics even during the  COVID Pandemic period. Chairman Mr. Amit Sharma in his address expressed his gratitude towards all the members of staff for being supportive part of AGC Family, for standing by it through the thick and thin. He appreciated the dedication of the work force behind the success story ofAGC. He congratulated the honored members and reposed his trust and confidence. Director Finace, Ms Ragini Sharma also congratulated the staff members who were honored on this occasion.
